I’m not a huge fan of most hunts. I find them to be really tiresome and I absolutely hate how huge most of them are. But when I got the notice from Deviance showing off their item for the Magic & Romance Hunt…well, there was no question that I’d be skipping happily over to find the gift!

Blue Belle is just so absolutely precious, it was a definite must-have for my inventory!

I will keep this quick, as I have a lot I really would like to share, but there are far too many distractions!

I LOVE this new sweater set from Nyte’N'Day, Its not completely sculpted, even tho it really looks like it is. Nyte was able to combine, neck, waist, and arm pieces that really give the perfect prim look.  I didn’t need to adjust a thing either, which is a huge benefit.  It comes with a great simple white tank underneath too!

And the jeans, I think everyone on the grid knows I love these jeans. They are my absolute favorites, and if I had to recommend one thing you should by from Nyte’N'Day, it would be them…in a FATPACK.  I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on how great the look on me, specially my booty!  =P

As most people are aware, there’s quite a bit of fundraising going on in Second Life because of the earthquake in Haiti. A bunch of really awesome designers have created items or have discounted items in a skybox over at Scribble and the proceeds from the sales they’re making are going to the Red Cross. There are also donation kiosks there, just in case you can’t find anything that you like. But with items from stores like Tiny Bird, Reek, Hopscotch, The Loft, and many many others, I just know that you guys will find something you love. And hey, shopping for a good cause is always awesome, right?

Hi there!  I’m Alicia Chenaux and I am SO HAPPY to be the newest member of My Second Closet!  Super big thanks to Felicity for inviting me over here!  You might already know me, but if you don’t… Well, I’m just this kind of goofy girl who throws outfits together, prays they’re not crazy looking, and then writes too much about them.  I’m also deeply loyal to my favorite designers, so you’ll get to see a whole bunch of stuff from my favorites.  And I honestly can’t think of a better way to kick off my first post over here than to show you guys this fabulous coat from one of my favorite stores in SL, Musashi-Do, which will be available on January 8th as the SL Daily Deal.

This is the December Warmth coat, in purple and black houndstooth, which is a special edition color and ONLY available if you purchase it from the Daily Deals vendor on the 8th. I have all of the colors of the December Warmth, and having it in purple is truly just extra special! The coat comes with a black turtleneck to wear underneath, and there are two bottoms of the coat available – a regular bottom and a “flat” bottom, for those who are a little more on the petite side. But of course all the prims are modifiable, and quite easy to fit. They are also transferable, so perfect for gifting!!

The special edition December Warmth will be $299L and only 250 will be available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! But you can always buy one of the regular December Warmth coats, if you miss out, or purple isn’t your thing.

I thought I would try and squeeze in at least ONE blog on my OWN blog before the end of the year. So to be a little festive I thought I would share this lovely sweater and hat created by one of my favorite people; Tenshi Vielle. The sweater has a great design on it, and the prim cuffs and collar make it look even better. I am in love with the hat, I think she’s done a super job with it. You get it all on its own, so you can pair it with tons of different hair in your inventory, and yes it is mod, so you can strech it as needed.

It goes so well with my new jeans from Nyte N Day, they are hands down my favorite jeans thus far. Ohhh and check out my feeties, these puppies are a gift from AOHARU/ANEXX… <3 Machang!

Anyway, the sweater and hat are a great buy, and just what we all need for holiday wear, so head over to Boutique and grab them up while you can!!
