So to jump back into a bit of blogging, I am going to give you a ton of newness. (or semi new)….
So lets begin with the fantastic skin I am sporting, which is from The Body Politik. Its been a long time coming, and I was lucky enough to be invited to preview the skins, and the new system. Which, you must be curious about yourself now. Well, they are working it out so, you log into their website and put together your own skin. And its soup to nuts really. You pick your own skin shade, eye shadow, lip color, lip liner, blush, body definition, eyebrow color, pubic hair/color, and you can even add tattoos to your skin! I was really impressed with the website, and the ease of use.
The quality is also great, which you can see below. I love the way the skin looks on me, particularly the lip shape. When you place your order online the system generates the textures, which are then put together in world, after you’ve paid the in-world kiosk. The skin base, which includes eyeshadow and lip color can be sent very promptly, but any skins with custom tattoos, or body definition would need 24 hours processing time. Still pretty good, for basically creating your own personal perfect skin. Here is a shot of the website:
Now for the bad news.. this is still in the beta stages, so you can’t run to the site and buy one up today. BUT…you don’t have terribly long to wait, just a couple of weeks!
In other new goodies, my fantastic jewelry set from BOOM, I love the simple design of the necklace and matching earrings, and how nicely the necklace sits on the AV, great stuff Aranel.
The boots, I know…drool! Damen Gorilla of Adam n Eve just keeps getting better and better. Interesting point, the boot is one prim, its not a separate foot/leg piece. You still need to wear a prim on your feet to hide your SL feeties, but I like the idea of not having to alter to prims to fit properly, and lets face it, it LOOKS better. The shoe and heel shape are super sexy, and I love the detail of the zip up, and all over texturing!
Finally, hows about my little slip dress & cami / pantie set?? I am soooo happy that Annyka has decided to step into the lingerie world. While her skins are always amazing, I think you can really see her keen eye to detail work with the lingerie. All the shading, and wrinkles, and even the lace detailing, they are just perfect. I cannot wait to see where she goes with all this, but I am sure I will be running to Blowpop every time there is a new release!
