Twice in one day! I must *really* be playing catch up!
You know, I put together this look 2 weeks ago when I got these GORG new super sexy shoes. I’d just gotten this jacket/skirt combo and knew they’d look amazing together. I even managed to pick up some pretty fierce hair to finish off the look, didn’t I?!
And how about this new Mya skin from Belleza?? She has a stunning face, and she doesn’t look like a little girl – which I LOVE! Currently available exclusively at the Skin Fair!
This year is flying by so rapidly and here we are on another 8th! Already November’s collabor88 has arrived and it seems to me that each month gets better. The colors in this theme though… are some of my favorites.
Most of what you see is available at the event this month. In the first image the hanging chair, display case, vase and the “coffee set” on the floor (the rest of the goodies are some of my personal collection over the years **note: the display case comes empty) . In addition to the furniture my hair, dress, and jewelry are also available there.
In the later picture The entire set – all accessories are from Collabor88! Beautiful isn’t it? And of course I am also wearing clothing from the event – Bodysuit and jeans.
There is SO much goodness this round (as per usual) that I will need to revisit and share more soonish, in the meantime shop!
I got this great new swing, and I spent about 4 hours yesterday chatting while swinging in it. I love that the avatar is animated while it swings – meaning, it’s not just the swing moving back and forth, but I actually lean back, push my feet up, etc. SO CUTE!
I also got an adorable new bench which is behind the swing, it fits so nicely in that little corner against the house, and I love the natural wood shade. Oh, it is mesh btw, so realllly lovely looking inworld.
Every girl should be so blessed to have a genuinely good guy in her life, like Mainit Hellman! We’ve been friends something like 3 years now, and I know you’ve all seen him a few times on my blog. He is always available when I need someone, and I feel like we can talk for hours about just about anything. When I’ve got a problem he looks to help me find a solution, and I know he is always doing this for all his friends, we’re all pretty fortunate to have him around. He has had a pretty tough year, but he seems to always put a smile on and trudge through it all, so the good he has going on right now seems particularly well deserved.
I went all out for the last blog with Don, so I felt lazy, and I had this new lingerie. Thank goodness Mainit is so agreeable!
Not everyone can appreciate his twisted and sometimes sick sense of humor, and even I have my days where I want to throw him out a window, however he manages to redeem himself every now and again, reminding me why I *do* keep him around. When I’m having a particularly shitty day, and I am bitching, Don Mill shows up in my IMs to cheer me up, or console me, making me smile and being a genuinely supportive friend. Of course that is usually followed by an inappropriate comment about my breasts, but good with the bad, right?
He even dressed himself for this blog, with ZERO help from me… SHOCKING. Grazia is clearly having a very positive impact on him, ty girl! Once he told me what he was wearing I knew just what I was going for. This brand new dress came through my notices and I had no good reason to buy it, until Don *poked* me.
Since I had such a nice time with Sophia the other day and remembered that it is nice to actually socialize and spend time with friends in SL, I’ve been asking friends on plurk to join me on my blog. SO keep an eye out, I’ve got more lovely faces that I adore to share with you!
Today I participated in the Second Life Fashion Experts days. My blog was posted on the Second Life Community Blog, HERE, and following that I spent the day chatting with residents on the Fashion Forums. It was a really positive day, and I got to interact with quite a few great people, in addition to my fellow bloggers who poked their heads in to say hello. I think I am going to make a genuine effort to be on the forums more regularly, especially over the next few days, since the Fashion Expert Days will still be going on!
Anyway, I couldn’t possibly resist blogging this new top, yes I’m vain, and YES it is because it is named Felicity!!! =P Lucky for me it also happens to be well done!
I did a little shopping therapy last night, and went to a new-to-me store: Berries Inc. It was a major score because everything is done very well, and its all casual wear. There isn’t an enormous collection yet, but I find that beneficial when I find a new place, I can go in and buy pretty much everything without having to suffer too much. =P I love this new mini-skirt I picked up there, and there were a TON of tops I got. I couldn’t decide which wanted to wear more for my post, and finally went with this one because I loved the sculpted bottom of the shirt so much with the skirt.
I am also sporting the newly released Taylor skin from League, which is just lovely! I am a big fan of the heavy eye makeup and and glossy lips. In addition to that I am also looooving on ths new hair from Analog Dog, I wish I could get my hair cut like this RL!
