I finally decided to put some clothes on. Mainly because I had these fantastic new pants that needed wearing. They are mesh, and the bow belt is color change via hud. I thought I’d dress them up a bit since I had this fur tippet/necklace set I’ve been meaning to use. Plus… hello gorgeous new hand bag that was just released = Perfection!
I wanted this top as soon as I saw it, so I had to run back and buy it last night when I finally decided what I was pairing it with! It gives me -shockingly enough- the feel of the Disco era. So of course I had to throw on the disco tunes, and inevitably head out to the SL club last night!
The top is mesh, and the creator did a fantastic job making it very wearable. You know, sometimes you buy something and it looks good in photos (well…if you take photos), but then it doesn’t really work for regular wear. This would normally be the case with a top like this. But if you find a creator who is working mesh in all the right ways it becomes a smashing hit.
It looks this good, I promise
I will keep this short, since it was just something I’d been wearing for a few days, and I don’t have any real direction for the post. Plus, I just rambled in the last one! =P I do want to mention tho that this image is hardly edited. I fixed a little spot on my leg to smooth it out, but otherwise… credit to the lovely exodus viewer!
So anywayyyyyy… Mesh hair = win, fur vests are a must, and knee-high boots make me happy in the pants.
Look, I’ve returned to regular seasonal clothing! I admit, I am still prancing around in all of my Vintage Fair goodies, but I thought I’d put on something more fall-ish before all of the leaves finish falling off the trees. The weather in my part of the world has been completely unpredictable, 2 days ago is was nearly 80 degrees out, and today it is hardly in the 30′s. No wonder I cannot get better! In other news, I am getting my RL haircut today, which is cause for much celebration, because it has now been nearly 2 years since my last cut. For those who don’t know, I am a RL redhead, curly unruly, thick and messy…. so I am in need of a cut badly!
Which is why I picked this crazy do…seems suitable since it pretty closely relates to my RL style atm =P
Hi, I disappeared, again. I won’t make excuses, really… I’ve just been taking midterms, baking, and entertaining a 6 year old who had a month off school. But no excuses, I promise.
I think I was wearing these jeans last time, god I am repetitive. But did dig up some good boots from my inventory (a pair that managed to out live the great inventory deletion of 2011), and this fantastic new tunic, which I adore, and I decided since it had a clever little crocheted looking inset on the top, this belt I happened to have fit it perfectly.
So there you go, I blogged. <3
I had the lovely pleasure of having Grazia Horwitz on my platform yesterday. Graz is one of my “newer” friends, we’ve always had the same circle of people in common, but we didn’t actually officially become friends until her and Don started dating. God is he lucky! =P Anyway, I’ve followed her blog for years, and adore her sense of style. I can appreciate how she embraces her sexuality, and that she can change herself all the time. We didn’t get to chat as much as I would have liked, because I had to run off and pick up my little one from school, but she is a good catch, I might have to try and steal her from Don…
So, when I decided I wanted to blog with another friend, I just IM’d everyone who was online, and said whoever was dressed so c’mon over. Grazia was the first to respond. She just happened to show up in this lovely look, including our matching hair! But that isn’t really shocking, this do is STUNNING, I am planning on wearing it for as long as…well… as long as it takes Truth to have another new release.
I think this might be the first time I’ve ever photographed Zoe Demar. That isn’t that big of a deal, but when you consider she has probably taken a dozen pictures of me over the years, maybe a bit. I first met Zoe when she and I were both newly working for ROLE Magazine, we were able to work together amazingly well, so I was sure to keep in touch with her, and contact her whenever I had a project. I look forward to talking to Zoe, and not just because it usually involves me on a pose stand, she is pretty incredible. And her photography? Absolutely brilliant, I’d like to have a fraction of her talents, she is kind enough to always offer suggestions when I come to her, which makes me lucky!
As you can see she also has an impeccable sense of style, when I asked her to join me she threw this look together. I would have reassessed my own look, but I sort of love the diversity. I’m wearing a few new releases – hair and dress, and the boots seem just fit seamlessly with my outfit.
I’ve got the fatpacks of these new shoes, and honestly, deciding WHICH color to wear, was nearly a traumatic experience. They are all gorgeous, I particularly love the floral prints, which come in 10 different colors. The HUD works amazing! (side note: I put them on right out of the *box* and didn’t even have to tint them, small miracle). You get dozens of nail polish options, as well as different textures/colors for the wedge heels, toe ring option, resizer..etc etc. Plus if floral patterns aren’t your thing, they come in 18 assorted solid colors! So get them…both!
I nearly blogged naked, because the shoes deserve their own stage, but since I was topless yesterday, I thought I’d spare y’all.
A fun new top gives me the perfect reason to put on this hair I’ve been wanting to blog! I adore it, wild and completely out of the norm for me. The braids on the sides, on top of the hair base (included with purchase) just make it work flawlessly.
Plus with all this skin showing I was able to put the great tattoo I’ve been hoarding in my inventory to use as well. I love the way the neck/chest tattoo falls so perfectly on the clavicle, I imagine RL I’d die of the pain from having it done, but that is what SL is for right?
For this weeks 52 weeks of color challenge, I tried to mix up a bunch of different brown tones, because to me at least, I think Sepia is a mix of different tones. Plus it was an excuse to wear these gorgeous new boots I got. A few of the items I am wearing are free gifts btw, so you should really check the style notes. <3
