When a week goes by without a new TRUTH release, I’m a bit sad I’ll admit.  So since it has been a while I’ve been craving and needing a fix.  Welp, not only did he release SIX new styles  but he has re done all of his hair packs with updated colors and color combos!  On top of that is the soon to be opened new store design (so if you are wanting to shop – don’t be surprised by the temporary location!).

This was my fave of the 6, and as you’ve noticed I took a close up shot and a full body.  My close up is to enter the TRUTH Model Search Contest. The contest is being held on flickr, you can submit your images (be sure to read the guidelines and comply), and enter to win prizes and a chance to have your face on the TRUTH store walls!

So go grab some new hair and get to photographing!

My Song For You

It is official The With Love Hunt has begun today.  I’ve shared some of the things you can find there here and here.  My very favorite thing that I grabbed was this sweet holiday themed pose/prop.  Definitely take some time and visit all the different hunt locations, the list is long…but they are all quality stops!

Many thanks to the good lookin’ guy who loaned me his pixels, and stood there perfectly still while I tediously shuffled through dozens of WL settings.  (That makes it sound like a lot of effort, doesn’t it?)

Vintage Fair 2012

I usually do a few blogs covering events… but this time I decided to just do what I love; dressing up, taking pics, and editing them.  You don’t really want to hear much of what I have to say anyway, you want to see what is there, and then run to buy it, right?!


This is my FAVORITE of all the fairs, hands down.  I’m so sad that it might be the last. I love dressing up for different eras, searching my inventory for that something I purchased months ago that would tie it all together.  It is like crack. And getting an overwhelming amount of talented creators together and saying, go make vintage items… Yesss.

I will go over the standards – Vintage fair spans 3 sims, the build is made entirely of mesh by Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil (for that alone you should go visit), the build is gorgeous with amazing textures, it looks like a beautiful little city.  I cannot tell you about lag because I was there before it officially opened.  But I guess that sort of comes with the territory at this point, right?  If you can hold off, I’d wait 2-3 days, and then visit. Course I wouldn’t take that advice myself…

Lights

We’re having a really gorgeous Summer here in the south.  Now, I say summer because by early June it IS summer here.  Usually by now we are running mid 90s, but it has managed to stay in the 70s & 80s here for a few weeks.  I will take the occasional showers and thunderstorms over the heat ANY day.

So of course a bike ride seems like a fantastic idea, right?  Have to enjoy the weather while you can!

Thanks Mikel for helping me get my big booty up on the seat, its been a while since I’ve done any riding ;)

This bike is awesome btw, comes with 6 couples poses in it, so you can take your sweetie out with you, you need it!

Somebody That I Used To Know

I feel a bit like I’ve fallen off the blogging wagon.  But to be truthful I’ve been spending a lot less time in Second Life lately.  My RL is keeping me quite busy, and I am not sure.. maybe I’m losing some interest.   Don’t get me wrong, I love SL, I just need to find a way of reinventing it for myself.  So if I seem a bit quiet, that is why.

I did get a little burst of creative this afternoon when I saw this new mesh release, which for me paired perfect with the new mesh *hair* release! These might replace my previous favorite pants, I didn’t share a pic..but I’ve got a great ass in these!  =P  The top is also fantastic, you know me, gotta show off the girls.

I’m just jumping on the bandwagon really, but I couldn’t help myself.  This jumper is too lovely not to blog.  I won’t rave about how I wanted to buy everything in the store, or how well crafted every last piece of clothing is.  Nope, won’t repeat what you’ve already heard… ;)

On a *random* side note: The song I was listening to during photo editing was mine and my best friends favorite in high school, we used to pile into a teeny tiny hatch back, pop the cassette tape in, and sing all the way to school.  We thought we were pretty impressive back then.
