Problem I am having with Shoetopia is there are just too many shoes that I adore. What makes it even worse is I have so little TIME to do much blogging lately.
So… I am going to share a couple of random shots I took featuring a few pairs I am in love with. And then maybe I will do that again later this week. I would blog each one separately, but we both know that might take me forever. In the image above, those stunning heels are just divine, aren’t they?? And the giant shoe is a Shoetopia gacha! You need them all, yep.
I thought maybe I ought to cover up a little more and show something that is going to be coming into season! These boots are absolutely perfect for this coming winter in SL I love the fur detail and the fact that the hud lets to change them up to suit your look. Read More
To quote my all time favorite show:
“I have this little substance abuse problem… expensive footwear…” ~ Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City
Luckily in Second Life I can really pack a punch with the obsession and not damage my RL bank account nearly as much.
So.. Shoetopia is like my crack, okay? The theme that Sophia Harlow and Anessa Stine brilliantly came up with: Shoe Heaven is fabulously interpreted with the build:
The event spans 2 sims and the whole build “floats” above the clouds. Everything is not only gorgeous to look at, but very simple to navigate. You know I’m a stickler for that sorta thing when it comes to events.
Anyway… Shoes. I mean, build is great but we are here for the shoes aren’t we? I thought I’d kick it off with this gorgeous pair of boots that are designed for the all new extra high-heeled feet from Slink.
I couldn’t resist the chance to sneak in some great clothes that are available at the new round of Collabor88 as well. You can get this hair, corset, skirt and jewelry at the event!
OH I almost forgot! The pose! You can try you chances to grab it out of the gachas at Shoetopia, you will want the whole collection though – fair warning!
You cannot get into Shoetopia until the 15th, but be sure to hit up Collabor88 in the meantime! <3 Read More
Thought I’d kick off some blogging about the new round of Collabor88 with some home decor!
This amazing skybox suits the industrial theme so perfectly, and there were tons of furniture pieces to choose from to accessorize it with. Like this couch, which is actually modular pieces that I’ve fit together to this shape. The living room set comes with some other great pieces as well like the artwork over the fireplace and the coffee table and stack of books. You can even find the great mother of pearl inlaid dresser there and the vase on the fireplace!
The cozy chair you spot in the corner isn’t available at collabor88 but it is also new and fabulous with single and couple poses! You can find that gem at The Neighborhood.
I had a completely different way I was going with this look. It was going to be tame, and simple. However I got completely distracted and had quite the mood change, so Fel’s got her “Nothin’ but trouble” face on. LOL
Annnnnyway. I really just wanted to show off a few more of my faves from this round of Collabor88. The legwarmers, bodysuit and jewelry are all available there this month!
I haven’t done a “simple” pic like this in a while, but I loved this look I was wearing so much, and I just wanted it to stand out on its own a bit.
My outfit and pendant are both from this new round of collabor88 – this sweater & skirt combo comes in a few different colors and I adore the belt that comes with the sweater. Just perfect, really.
You didn’t think it would be too long before I was prancing around in some sorta costumes, right? If you’ve been with me since the beginning you know this is like my faveeeee time of year. I love dressing up and having a bit of Halloween fun. I will gladly take the opportunity to exploit the holiday ALL month.
Thank you Collabor88 for giving me lots of new ways to do it this month. My outfit, adorb pink kicks, hair and *squeeeee* mask are all from this round- which opened today!
Oh yeah, and you can even find this absolutely perfect little seasonal cottage at Collabor88 too! The fantastic pumpkins on the porch aren’t from the event, but if you check out the deets below the cut I will tell you where to grab them too
Sunday afternoons spent quietly walking and looking at the trees changing colors on the sim. <3
I love this new hair so much that I need to find a dozen more reasons to wear it, at least! It isn’t from collabor88….but just about everything else I’ve got on is!
More Fall goodness from Collabor88! Please be sure you don’t miss all the great items that are out for this round – such fab things that will make you want to redecorate yourself and your home <3
Who’s favorite time of year is Fall??? THIS GIRL.
I am so freakin’ pleased it is September, and while in RL that means it is still summer in my part of the world – at least in SL I can just presto-chango – - FALL.
TURTLENECKS AND SCARVES Y’ALL! Turtlenecks and scarves.
Oh, I got off subject I think maybe – point being that this round of Collabor88 is all about FALL. What a great way to roll in the season, a whole event full of wonderful new pieces for your wardrobe and home.
I’m wearing Hair, Skin, Dress, Boots and Necklace all from this round of Collabor88 – I can tell you you definitely need every last item!
I haven’t shared a new home in like…weeks. *GASP*
So here is a little peek at my lovely new living room, cozy isn’t it? What set this whole room rolling was the cozy new couch I just received from a new to me store. I really really love the shape of the couch, and the throw pillows are in a great paisley print. Makes it so easy to match it up with all sorts of other furniture.
I love to really fill up a room with lots and lots of my favorite things, makes you feel like you really are stopping by my house!
Other cute mentions – the chairs! OMG I love them, they are so well crafted, and they’ve got oodles of prints and you can have it with or without the pillow! Also the great looking book shelf, very original and eye-catching!
This is the house as well, and it comes with the pool and foundation area with plants etc. I actually recolored the house, and I suggest trying it to come up with something to suit your needs. It is lovely as is, but I always like something with a bit more color!
The home is available at this month’s Collabor88 – shocking.. imagine me blogging about Collabor88?!
