I love when there are bunches of great new releases all at once to make me squeal and feel like I need every last thing.  Now I need to sort out how to share all my new goodies!!  ACK!

Today I thought I’d share this fantastic blazer that was just released.  It comes in a lot of really fantastic spring colors, and I LOVE that the jacket is actually lined (you can see it a bit in the above shot).  I also adore this new hair!  It has been a while since Kavar had a new release but apparently he was quite busy with new textures and a new fancy shmancy hud that makes my SL super easy! ;)

Many thanks to my guy friend for posing with me, and standing around so patiently while I chewed his ear off!

Hat hair just in time for the winter!  Hooray!  I really do adore this style, usually I am in need of bangs to hide the HUGE forehead, but this compliments my face quite nicely (I think).

I also stumbled upon this poncho/cape the other day and immediately fell in love.  I adore ponchos in RL, and have about a half-dozen, so the more I can get the better!

What The World Needs Now Is Love

What could be better than cozying up outside on a fall evening with some really handsome pixels and watching your all time favorite movie?!  Admittedly, I got distracted during the movie…but I’ve seen My Best Friend’s Wedding 100,000 times…so no biggie!

This new set that can be found at Collabor88 is SO much fun, there are tons of different poses, friends, singles… and then the *fun* stuff.  Everything is just so well done, the pieces are perfect, and some of them can definitely be used indoors as well. I can’t say enough about it honestly, all the little details like the projector that sits atop a pile of crates, or the “movie screen” which is just a sheet tossed over some well-arranged branches.  You even get the strung up set of lights.

You need this, it’s all low prim because its mesh, and you can use it alone, with friends, or with the leading man in your SLife!

Give Your Heart A Break

I thought I’d take a second to point out how great the Exodus viewer has been to me.  Most of y’all don’t know that I get grid lines in nearly all of my images.  So for about the last 2 weeks or so I’ve been using the Exodus viewer andddd…. Not only do I *never* have issues with grid lines, but I feel the shadows, and the over all clarity and smoothness is just incredible with Edoxus.

That being said, I figured I’d show you a basically unedited image using Exodus. I fixed my ugly knee, and some other edges that didn’t look quite right due to the avatar mesh/pose.  But otherwise, this is a straight for the viewer snap, that I’ve simply cropped.  That is another one of the pluses with wearing mesh clothing/hair (like this fantastic new do that came out last night)  There is so little work I need to do with the images, the hair lays perfectly because it is rigged, and so is my top.

It is that time of year where we reflect on things right?  Well, I just renewed my flickr pro account, and I was able to go back and look at some of my old images.  While I can try and put the blame on the crappy computer I was working with back then, I have to say… we’ve come a long way SL… the both of us!  ;)

Love Actually

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and Belleza will have a lovely holiday gift/preview of an upcoming skin release – Lily.   I told Tricky I needed something to blog, and just like that I’ve got something to share!  The skin is lovely as always, though of course I am partial! ;)

This will be my last blog before Christmas, because I’ve got quite a busy couple days ahead of me.   So I thought I would share with you my favorite holiday film – Love Actually.  It probably isn’t on the more typical Christmas movies list, but still my favorite all the same.  If you’ve never seen it you should, it tells the story of quite a few different characters, in all variations of love.   The cast is packed with amazing actors and actresses, the culmination of the film taking place Christmas Eve, and it is all set in London.  I won’t lie, it was a little more difficult for me to watch this year because you know love isn’t always a simple thing…

General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Paradise

Brisk autumn walk on the last day of October, the air is crisp, and scent of the leaves that have settled on the ground all around fills my heart with happy.

I’ve paired one of my absolute favorite turtlenecks with this newly released skirt, it has such a casual yet graceful feel.  Threw on these fun new boots to add a bit of color as I stroll and the tips of the boots peak out from under the skirt, and of course…new hair.  I was saying on plurk today that I don’t usually wear bangs like these, but this style really suits my face, my fave of the new releases.

Now I just need *the* guy to slip his arm around my waist, and pull me in close as we stroll the stone paths… that’d make this a perfect autumn day!

I had the lovely pleasure of having Grazia Horwitz on my platform yesterday.  Graz is one of my “newer” friends, we’ve always had the same circle of people in common, but we didn’t actually officially become friends until her and Don started dating.  God is he lucky!  =P  Anyway, I’ve followed her blog for years, and adore her sense of style.  I can appreciate how she embraces her sexuality, and that she can change herself all the time.  We didn’t get to chat as much as I would have liked, because I had to run off and pick up my little one from school, but she is a good catch, I might have to try and steal her from Don…

So, when I decided I wanted to blog with another friend, I just IM’d everyone who was online, and said whoever was dressed so c’mon over.  Grazia was the first to respond.  She just happened to show up in this lovely look, including our matching hair!  But that isn’t really shocking, this do is STUNNING, I am planning on wearing it for as long as…well… as long as it takes Truth to have another new release.

I think this might be the first time I’ve ever photographed Zoe Demar.  That isn’t that big of a deal, but when you consider she has probably taken a dozen pictures of me over the years, maybe a bit.  I first met Zoe when she and I were both newly working for ROLE Magazine, we were able to work together amazingly well, so I was sure to keep in touch with her, and contact her whenever I had a project.  I look forward to talking to Zoe, and not just because it usually involves me on a pose stand, she is pretty incredible.  And her photography?  Absolutely brilliant, I’d like to have a fraction of her talents, she is kind enough to always offer suggestions when I come to her, which makes me lucky!

As you can see she also has an impeccable sense of style, when I asked her to join me she threw this look together.  I would have reassessed my own look, but I sort of love the diversity.  I’m wearing a few new releases – hair and dress, and the boots seem just fit seamlessly with my outfit.

The Edge Of Glory

I’ve been dying to get this skirt, kept putting on my shopping list, and then getting side tracked.  But last night I finally rant back to Culture Shock, and grabbed it up in this fantastic purple shade.  Of course, since Maylee is brilliant, the sculpted skirt is just lush.  It fits so well, and I changed up the  top to match with a lovely cardigan I have, as you can see it worked together just fine.

I’ve not had the chance to wear the socks version of these shoes yet, or more…I’ve been wearing the over the knee version mainly.  So this was a perfect opportunity to flex my investment.  Maitreya’s are a pretty penny, but worth every bit!
