Here Without You

I’m in love with my new home, have I mentioned that? I’ve been taking my time to more slowly put it together this time.  I am hoping this will help to actually keep a home longer than like a month. I showed you a shot inside over the weekend, so here is one small area outside that I finished up tonight.

Another reason I am sharing this is because all of the furniture (table, chairs, bird cages, seat under the tree, and blanket) are new at collabor88 this month. I keep thinking Isla and Kaz can’t possibly come up with something more perfect – then they do another collaboration and I am in <3 all over again.  Thanks guys, you are making my little piece of heaven!

It Must Have Been Love

Every now and again I like to take a nearly unedited pic to post on my blog.  I love spending hours editing images and making them what I want.  But sometimes it is nice to see what the pics look like without all the “magic”, right?

SO I thought this was the perfect opportunity, since this bed is BEYOND amazing and doesn’t need a thing done to it in order to look so!  It comes in a few bedding options, AND there will be an ADULT version available as well.  Although this PG version is packed with some cute cuddles anyway!

As the SLingle girl..I had to just sob on the side of the bed and contemplate my solitude. Pathetic.

I’m not including any style details, since mostly this post is about the bed, which can be found at Trompe Loeil!

I decided about 2 weeks ago that I needed a new home.  I was attempting to be thrifty and use a skybox I already had in my inventory when Sophia Harlow linked me to the marketplace listing for this skybox.  She knew I wouldn’t be able to resist.  And how could I really?  Not only is it mesh, and the textures are gorgeous, but it “overlooks” Manhattan.

Long story short, I had to have it, filled it with all my favorite things and thought it was pretty enough to share <3

Bring It On Home

I have a new home!  (Shocking, I know!)

I am so in love with this new place though, and while I do love having places I can fill with all my precious things, sometimes it is really nice to just rez something and not have to do much of anything with it!  LOL

The home is from Abiss, which you might have guessed, I think their style & quality is generally easy to distinguish.

The Country Retreat Residence can either be rezzed on the ground or a skybox version.  I am sharing the skybox because I was SO impressed with how well the surround for the skybox was made.  I love the grounds, trees and the sky enclosure.  Really well done, and you even get extra trees in case you want to change it up a bit.

The pool is gorgeous, AND has a whole bunch of interactive poses, you can dive, swim, lounge pool side. I love those clever little details.  The outside gazebo AND couch are included (and packed with poses) and even the grill is included.

Everything you see in all of these images included with purchase, AND almost the entire build is MESH!  \o/

The interior is equally as impressive, and I happen to really like the size of this home.  I don’t really love big houses in SL, because I just don’t have the use for all of the space, but this one is roomy but not overwhelming.  The kitchen is packed with poses both in the table set (yep included) and along the wall in stove/sink area.  Fun things to play with!   Even the piano tucked away near the entry is included, and on top of it being gorgeous to look at it also functions, if you remember I’ve previously blogged about it!

All the details move right up the stairs to the bedroom, sitting room and bath.  Again all of the furniture is full of poses, so is the ridiculously glam bathroom AND the hot tub tucked away on the deck!

I can say enough about this home, you really need to visit it yourself in world and walk around it to truly appreciate it.  Every time I log in I smile!

I’m sort of late to the game this round, but I thought I’d still take some time to share with you the amazing things you can find at this month’s collabor88.

In the image above my hair, outfit, couch, wall art and some of the accessories can all be found there.  I love this very french inspired theme, and you will (or have) find that you really do want just about everything you can afford at the event.

I will blame my being late with blogging on this stunning themed skybox that was created just for this round of collabor88.  I spent days now just filing it up with all of my favorite things.  I love this space, the build is really well crafted, as can be expected from barnes.  It comes with the city surround, but there is still a ton of opportunity for light to fill up the space, giving your windlight a workout.

As it seems to be my luck lately, as I was just pondering what bed to use in this space, I received notification about this newly released bedroom set. Soon as I saw the images I knew it would be absolutely perfect in this space. The white washed carved wood of all the furniture really finishes off the space for me.  I love the bedding they went with also…PLUS…not only does it look good, it’s very functional.. there are well over 200 poses packed into that bed – Friends, Loves, Singles, Scenes…you name it!  I didn’t capture all of the pieces in the set, but there is an amazing wardrobe also (I tried desperately to squeeze it in, I swear, its LOVELY!) which opens and reveals a closet full of clothes.  Even the chandelier pictured above can be found with this set.

This is just a quick post to share a sneak peek of the new space I am decorating!  I’ve been procrastinating with finishing up my new house, but with this new release from What Next, I got a little giddy.  I’ve been looking for a bed like this for weeks!  I am crossing my fingers that Winter decides to release it in some different texture options for those who want something a bit more neutral.  This is a special for the SUYS that is going on this weekend, so not only is it LOVELY but you can pick up the bed & tea tray for just 150L$, and if that isn’t a good enough deal, for Lazy Sunday she also has the Shelf with decor and side table with decor, all for just 75L$ – Thats right, you can get a whole bedroom for under 300L$ – So get your ass over there!

I am also using the rug and drapes that are being sold separately, but also match the set, and I didn’t feature the drapes with the shutter/window built in (because I’ve got amazing windows in my new place) but omg SO cute, will make for great props!

Thanks to Bouncer, for joining me again, he is turning out to be a great man prop, who knew?!

Sauna Zen-sation

If you haven’t heard of this FANTASTIC buy yet, you must be under a rock?  But on the slim chance that you haven’t, run on over to Belle Belle ASAP, no seriously, because this is just for this weekend’s SUYS, and it ends today!!

What am I talking about??  Belle Belle’s new Sauna Zen-sation — you get the entire sauna, with some fantastic poses built in, for just L$150.  That is all!!  Tomorrow it will go to its regular price of L$990, so you’d be nuts to pass it up.

However… if you are anything like me, you will want the “Passion Inside” version, which isn’t on sale, but honestly, still a terrific price (L$1990) considering the fully loaded menu of poses for you and your special someone.  Here is just a quick PG version of what you can find in *that* version:

My Lovely Place

I’ve been meaning to redecorate, so I consider myself lucky that Desiree Bisiani of Ambiance furniture can read minds.  She was fantastic enough to pass me over some of the great new furniture that is available at their store.  Both of these sets come from the new Hacienda line.  They just happen to fit PERFECTLY in my little beach house.

They come with the usual perks you can find in the Ambiance furniture – Menu driven color change, as well as poses.  I love that you can purchase one set of furniture, and really get a much larger selection.  You can decide tomorrow that you really didn’t want a blue bedroom set and switch it over to the green, etc.  And ofcourse its not just the bedding that changes, but all of the wood textures on the bed, and all of the accompanying pieces.

There is also a  dining set that is part of the Hacienda series, which I’ve not featured here – simply because I have an itty bitty house, but it is MY Lovely Place.  <3
