There is a pretty constant flow of new releases in SL, our favorite designers, giving us quality content to appease our pixel hearts. But, even so… when one of them disappears for a few months they are missed! So happy to see this one is back, and even more thrilled that she has shared with me her up coming release.
It comes in quite a few colors, this camel tone was my favorite. The fur wrap also comes with it, and I think I will get quite a lot of use from it when I am mixing and matching! Not going to carry on about the amazing sculpted work, we already know hers is some of the best around!
I’ve had this top in my inventory about a month now? It is simple, but the details, like the collar and the sleeves kept it in the back of my mind. So, it was the first thing I thought of when I saw Luna’s color pick this week! It was sorta tough for me to come up with exactly what I wanted to wear with it tbh. My first instinct was jeans, I am SUCH the jean girl inRL, but I feel like I’ve done jeans with quite a few of my color challenges. So I remembered that I had a pair of bright blue leggings, thankfully. And of course my absolute favorite go to high tops, which I managed to color coordinate pretty darn well, if I do say so myself.
Another week, another color. Plum is this week’s color for the blogger challenge Luna Jubilee has been organizing. I struggled a little with this one, and eventually just settled on something simple that I thought would be passable.
Blue is the 2nd week’s color in Luna’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. If you check her blog you can see everyone else who is participating, from what I understand there are about 100 of us. It is nice to have such a great year long project we can all do as a community. I am hoping I will be able to keep up every week. <3
I’ve decided to give a go at a Blogger Challenge. I rarely participate, because I just don’t have the time, or creativity at times. However, Luna Jubilee picked a subject I should be able to manage; Color. As she explains on her blog, this will be a weekly challenge, which WILL be a challenge for me, since I don’t *always* blog every week.
Week one was super easy for me, I had just picked up this new sweater set and jeans. WIN!

Happy Halloween everyone!
Hope you all have an amazing day, whether you plan to dress up RL, or just in SL….orrrrr both. Eat lots of candy, and do lots of tricks.
I wasn’t sure what I would use for my Halloween look, until I had this great gift dropped on me last night from one of my favorite stores! It is fantastic because it comes with the whole “dress” including all the wrapped ropes, AND the fantastic basket of pumpkins.
I thought it was sort of suitable because I wanted to remind you all that TODAY, Second Style Island is hosting a fantastic *exclusive* ONE day sale. All Hallows’ Eve @ Second Style will be a great place to do some trick or treating, even if you might have to do a bit of searching around for our treats! =)
Don’t miss out on all the day’s sales – VISIT SECOND STYLE ISLAND.
Another costume for y’all! This time my inspiration was the last TRUTH hair release, it comes with the feathers in the hair AND the face paint. God, I love playing dress up, but finding something to create the look I wanted this time around was difficult. I *really* wanted to go with some sort of Native American look, this is probably much more on the Gorean side, but it will have to do. Still pretty happy with it, and my braids nearly cover all the nipple. =P
*Special thanks to Strawberry Singh for sending me to store where I found my costume <3
I’ve been hanging onto this image for like a week now, just been sitting there in my PS window open, waiting for me. I finally found some time today to post tho, so yay me!!
I love Paper Couture, I am sure I’ve said this here on my blog before. I get so excited when they release a new line, and run over to spend all my L$. Not only are their designs just beautiful, and always sort of outside the box, but their accessories are also lush. Rings, Necklaces, Sunglasses, Hair….SHOES!
So I am sampling a bit of everything here, the outfit, earrings, sunglasses, ring and shoes are all from the new PC line.
I should also mention this awesome stool from Glitterati, it has a bunch of amazing poses built into it, and works great if you are looking to add a little something extra to your shots.
I can’t resist a good cardigan, in either SL or RL. Just so happens there were quite a few to be had at DU4. I picked up these 2 while visiting, because I knew I had some gorrrrgeous Hair Fair hairs that needed love.
The first hair is from Shag, which is a newer store, I’ve known about it about 7 months or so now. There are a few new hairs set out at the fair, the one I am wearing, a side pony and one with a hat. This one had to be used, it is so outrageously big, and I am not sure if I will get to wear it around the grid so much, but it is PERFECT for photos. It makes me feel like a super starrrrr.
The 2nd hair is from Clawtooth, I’ve only really recently been able to appreciate Bubbles’ hair. I just started picking up items these last few months, even tho I’ve know of the store forever it seems. I ADORE this hair though, the cute bangs and the hat (which is color change, in case you were wondering), it really is the perfect hair for a cardigan.

This weekend in Second Life is like the ummmm… well, actually I just don’t have anything to compare it to. Some of the most amazing events are taking place, not only do you have the Annual Hair Fair, but there is also another charity event going on called Project Donate, AND in addition to that Designers United started as well.
Designers United 4 is compiled of some 80 or so well known designers, all creating unique items that are for sale, and the layout is fantastic, I have to sincerely thank whoever planned it. Hair Fair, while LOVELY to look at, was very frustrating to navigate, I am certain I didn’t see every booth, because I just couldn’t FIND them.
Project Donate is the other event I mentioned which will hopefully turn into 4 events a year that will run 2 weeks each to benefit various charities. The very first event will is to benefit UNICEF Pakistan Flood Crisis and is open now through September 19th.
So now you know where you should be this weekend, and for that matter for the next 2 weeks, since all these events are ongoing. Moving right along, to the HAIRRRRR….
I am featuring another of my 2 faves from the Fair thus far. The first is from ATOMIC, and its a pretty casual side pony, that you will just need to own. The second is from Raspberry Aristocrat, and this specific style actually comes 3 ways, I am wearing the My Darla. I am so happy to see newness from RA! The hair does NOT come with the flowers, just to be forwarned, the flower head piece is part of the dress, which, guess what??? Is from the DU4 event! =P
