The War Is Over

I thought I’d squeeze in one last blog for the 2012 year, to give a big grand recap of my year…blah blah blah.  But then I realized I don’t really want to think much about this past year.   Lets leave it all there and move on, so much freedom in that, isn’t there?

So I’m wishing you all the freedom to move into 2013, leaving all that weighs you down behind.  There is a whole new year ahead of you full of wonderful things I hope – try something new, make new friends, be happier, tell someone you love them, etc etc.

If I wasn’t going out in RL this year, I’d certainly be wearing this gorgeous look I’ve put together.  There are a ton of new dress and gowns available for this special evening, but sometimes you want to stand out from the crowd!  <3

Winter Song

Starting tomorrow I’ve got family in for Christmas, so I thought I’d squeeze in one more quick blog before I disappear for a week!

I love this new jacket so much, there is both an open and closed version, and it comes in a whole rainbow of perfect colors.  I still had more new hat hair, so I got to use another…AND I even had the opportunity to use some absolutely on par for the season poses!

Loooove love love these 2 poses, the first is from a set of “Snow” poses, and the 2nd comes with the adorable sled!

Christmas… Baby Please Come Home

The thing about the holidays is that they always make you nostalgic for the way things were, people you’ve spent previous Christmases with, traditions…etc.  Sometimes it is a little bittersweet…

I’ve got a few more things to share from this round of Collabor88, I saved some of the best for last! ;)

The boots I’m wearing, as well as the sweater and necklace can all be found there… PLUS – The quaint winter cottage you see in the background….AND – The campfire with logs and even the sled.  Good stuff huh???

Never Again

Scarves, mittens, earmuffs, sweaters.  My season has arrived!  I am my happiest when I am snuggled up in all these layers.

There is a new release from Pixel Mode in the way of scarves and mittens, both of which are mesh.  I went with this lovely knit scarf because I thought the pink would best suit my pair of owl earmuffs from gacha.  YES… I have them FINALLY, with many thanks to Sophia who says she had to sell her soul acquire them.

Anyway, the scarves come in an assortment of colors and textures and even a few really adorable prints, plus as I said they are mesh, so they look fantastic on!  So do the mittens toooo!

On a side note, this pose is an oldie and is meant for holding a heart, but who says you can’t throw a snowflake in there and make it seasonal, right??

I’m making a good effort to get lots of use out of the new home, and winter pics are so lovely aren’t they?

So, I’m not a real big gacha person, I know this might be like… sacrilegious to some, but it’s just not my thing.  HOWEVER, I had to have these ear muffs – well, I really wanted the owl ones, but after trying over and over I gave up =/  No owls for me.  These are still super cute though, and so is my new jacket, paired up with the boots and scarf I look all winter cozy, don’t I?

I want to rob Felicity of this cardigan and have it in my RL =/  Soon as I saw it I had to run over and buy it.  I should have bought them in every color tbh.  ONLY thing that stinks is because it is mesh it doesn’t love any of my other mesh shirts to wear under it.  So back to shirt layers!  But I made it work, small sacrifice in the big picture.

How cute is this new step-ladder/wall art too?  Comes with a bunch of great poses as well!

Never Tear Us Apart

Isn’t this a great pose?  I love it so much, it says a lot to me…without being some sort of lovers embrace.  Holding hands is a very intimate thing, people don’t do it enough.

Annnnyway – There is a whole slew of new “Park” themed poses out, all just as amazing as this one!

Plus…I couldn’t resist using these great pumps, I ADORE this teal color they come in.  So much fun adding a splash of color with shoes.  It also gave me a chance to dig up some of my “old” clothing that I never can find.  And of course another opportunity to show off these awesomesauce new jeans.

This whole fall landscaping hasn’t gotten old yet, sorry.  You will have to suffer with more pics of me in my yard.  I promise I will get over it eventually!

Trouble

I really wanted to blog this dress in red.  However, wearing red is difficult for me what with the red hair and freckles, ya know?  So I decided to go BLONDE!  It isn’t SO incredibly unusual actually, If you look back when I first started blogging I was a blonde.  I couldn’t manage to stay away from my RL hair color though, so I went back to red and haven’t really strayed since.  But for today.. I’m a blonde…yeah, yeah, yeah yeahhh. (If you get that reference you get bonus points)

So the dress…gorgeous, the back has a deep plunge, and the ties from the neck of the dress drape down, sorry I didn’t share that angle, I thought the gorgeous cowl necked front was too detailed and lovely to miss. It comes in a slew of colors as well as the non-glittered tones as well. Go pick one up today!
