The newest collection from Collabor88 started 2 days ago, and I’ve finally gotten around to blogging it! There was SO much in the way or gorgeous clothing this round. I was really hard pressed to try to select just a few things.
But I did narrow it down to a few looks! I went with their theme and kept to this beachy monotone. Faves…hmmmm…. The top from W&B, the dress from Kyoot and the Necklace from Yummy?! I dunno… I love it all.
There is also a gorgeous skybox from Trompe Loeil, a super cute hot tub from LISP and and and…yeah..just go shop.
8th of May! Woot! Of course I’m this excited because the new Collabor88 collection is available. There is a TON of ridiculous good stuff available. Actually, so much so, that you can probably count on another post dedicated to it.
Things that I am wearing which you can find there – The hair, ohh the amazing hair! Its fantastic, and…its mesh! My top, undergarments, skirt, shoes, and necklace – ALL Collabor88.
Oh…and, you can find the fantastic build I am standing in there as well. It is so gorgeous I had to take a shot of it just so you could see it in all of its magnificence:
This is a skydome, so basically everything you see in this shot is included; the build itself, plus the sky and even the ground you see int he image. You can’t see it, but the inside of the structure opens to see the ground below. It really is unique, and you really need it! Go!
I feel a bit like I’ve fallen off the blogging wagon. But to be truthful I’ve been spending a lot less time in Second Life lately. My RL is keeping me quite busy, and I am not sure.. maybe I’m losing some interest. Don’t get me wrong, I love SL, I just need to find a way of reinventing it for myself. So if I seem a bit quiet, that is why.
I did get a little burst of creative this afternoon when I saw this new mesh release, which for me paired perfect with the new mesh *hair* release! These might replace my previous favorite pants, I didn’t share a pic..but I’ve got a great ass in these! =P The top is also fantastic, you know me, gotta show off the girls.
Christmas is rapidly approaching, and right behind it is New Year’s Eve, which of course means there are lots of parties to attend! So I thought I would give you a few ideas for all of the festivities. Each of these looks is a bit unique, from formal to super sexy, and all of the dresses come from the same location. Nothing like one stop shopping!
Things I love – The gold dress comes in 2 versions, in case you want a slightly different look, plus the texture is fantastic and totally glitzy! The Blue comes with the jeweled hanging back, and really adds that something perfect to an otherwise more simple dress, I should also point out that while you can’t see it, this dress off shows off the cleavage in a BIG way! =P And finally the Champagne colored gown, its perfection, and you get it in this sculpted version as well as a flexi, both gorgeous.
Amazing this about this pic… it is hardly edited. I adjusted the lighting and smoothed up some edges, but otherwise… this is right outta SL. Mesh hair is a beautiful thing. Yes, it comes with the scarf, and yes the scarf is color change. This was my very first visit to this store, even though I’ve heard of it before, I hadn’t seen any hair that I really thought would suit me. But this one is just perfect!
Another month, another fair!
We’ve moved along to the Jewelry Fair, which is running right up through October 17th. The 4 sims are beautiful to go along with the Beauty and the Beast theme, right down to an amazing castle. Of course we are mostly concerned with lag, and ease of navigation, because lets face it, we’ve come to shop. So all of that being said, there is a lovely path that you walk along, and you won’t miss a single booth, and while I did visit during blogger’s day, it appeared to me to be very low lag!
Jewelry Fair is benefiting Oxfam, which is an international confederation of 14 organizations working together in 99 countries and with partners and allies around the world to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. Check out the link for some more details.
My first selection to feature from the fair is from Caroline’s Jewelry. I am a long time fan of Caroline’s work, and am always happy when I can grab up something new. This was my favorite set at her booth, and it does come with the earrings, necklace, ring and brooch (I should note the brooch has been re-sized quite a bit, for my own personal taste).
